Sometimes, moms just have to follow their gut instincts.

For a long time, I had been hesitant about letting my four year old sip my Gatorade. Almost every time, he’d want more. Usually, I would pour a little into a cup for him.

A few days ago, the American Academy of Pediatrics released a study that warns against children drinking sports drinks and other caffeinated drinks, including colas. The actual report was just released in "Pediatrics: Official Journal of  the American Academy of Pediatrics" on May 29, 2011.

For children with upset tummies, it seems Pedialyte is still the best choice to replace those fluids.

Have you given your little ones energy drinks? C'mon, I can't be the only one? Huh?
