I think it makes sense... if you are with friends that are on a diet and watch what they eat, then you will be more likely to watch what you eat.

Also, a buddy (she's a doc) suggested I try the shadow in the inside of my elbow and waiting 24 hours. Any allergic reactions would show the next day or so, but, I didn't and all went well! Go figure. :)

Love your blog! I found you from MBC and am now following. P.S. I've always been way too scared (of a giant pimple right in the middle of my face showing up due to use of less than perfect dollar store makeup) to try dollar store make up! I guess I'll have to give it a go!

Great post! I shop there but never purchase their makeup I would for sure purchase their nail polish remover though. The eyeshadow looked like it worked great but I'm not that talented at applyinh shadow. Also, I just returned the favor and I am now following you too:)
